Please Note,

After the deposit is paid, the resignation from the accommodation in the dormitory must be submitted in writing or in person, not later than within 7 days of its making. Otherwise, the reservation deposit is not refundable.

Application for student dormitories academic year 2021/22!

We invite you to the electronic submission of applications for a place in student dormitories of the Catholic University of Lublin.

The application can be found in the “Applications” tab on your e-KUL / e-Rekrut account. The application is available only to people who study or have confirmed their choice of studies at the Catholic University of Lublin.

The first application round runs until July 12, 2021. 1. A place in a Dormitory is granted on the student’s request. The application should indicate the preferred – selected DS.

– ul. Konstantynów 1D – Lublin (female house)

– ul. Konstantynów 1B – Lublin (male house)

– ul. Niecała 8 – Lublin (male and married home)

– ul. Ofiar Katynia 6 Stalowa Wola (separate male and female part)


2. MINORS may apply for a place in student dormitories on the basis of the parent’s or legal guardian’s declaration submitted during recruitment.

3. The submission of the application consists in:
– correctly filling in and approving the application on the e-Kul / e-Rekrut platform)


4. The priority in granting a place in a student dormitory is determined primarily by qualification for a maintenance grant (and it concerns Poles or people with a Pole’s card), including:
– distance from the permanent place of residence:
– difficult financial situation (based on monthly income per person in the family);
– orphan-hood;
– disability;
– raising a child alone;
– continuation of accommodation;
– timely payment of fees in previous years;
– date of submission of the application.
Persons wishing to take advantage of the priority rules for assigning a place in SD are required to attach a copy of the disability degree certificate to the application. The remaining priority data should be provided in the application.

5. Applications for a place in SD submitted by:
a. July 11 – will be considered on July 12 at a KDS meeting;
b. July 22 – will be considered on July 23 at the KDS meeting;
c. August 15 – will be considered at the KDS meeting on August 16;
d. September 15 – will be considered by September 16 at the KDS meeting.


6. Information about granting or refusing to grant a place in SD is provided only in electronic form by publishing it on your e-KUL/e-Rekrut account. Information can also be obtained in person at DS.


7. According to the Recruitment schedule 2021/22:
1. The KDS meeting on July 12, 2021 will mainly consider applications submitted by current residents and students from the second year up and by those who have not lived in student dormitories of the Catholic University of Lublin,
2. At the KDS meeting on 23 July 2021, mainly applications submitted by students recruited for bachelor’s degree (BA), master’s degree (MA) and MA long -cykle 5 year programme,
3. At the KDS meeting on August 16, 2021, applications submitted, in the case of vacancies, applications of students and people from outside KUL,
4. At the KDS meeting on September 16, 2021, all other applications will be considered.

So, If you are starting your studies at KUL this year, apply for a dorm no earlier than July 13th!


8. An applicant who has been granted a place in a DS is obliged to confirm the acceptance of a place in a DS by paying a reservation deposit in the amount of the monthly fee for the allocated place within:
a. until July 19, place awarded on July 12,
b. until July 30 – place granted on July 23,
c. August 23 – place awarded on August 16,
d. until September 23 – place awarded on September 16.
Information on the amount and method of making the payment is included in the information on the allocation of the place. No payment means resignation.


9. The deposit is a security for the costs of repairing any damage caused to the dormitory or failure to settle the fee for accommodation in the dormitory. The deposit is returned at the student’s request, after the final departure from the dormitory during the period for which the accommodation was granted in accordance with § 4 of the Regulations of the Student Dormitories of the Catholic University of Lublin.


10. After the deposit is paid, the resignation from the accommodation in the dormitory must be submitted in writing or in person, not later than within 7 days of its making. Otherwise, the reservation deposit is not refundable.


11. The method of selecting the preferred room / segment and the personal composition will be available after September 10 on the website of a specific dormitory.


12. People from outside the Catholic University of Lublin who would like to live in the Dormitory of the Catholic University of Lublin should complete the editable PDF application, and then send a scan of the signed printout to the e-mail address of the relevant student dormitory.
